The inspiring story of Crash Genius

Our story begins with Crash, a crash test dummy who miraculously came to life during a crash safety test at a Kia Soul warehouse. On the run from the curious warehouse staff, Crash has been secretly living among humans, always in disguise. Through his experiences, he's become passionate about guiding new drivers to navigate roads safely, hoping to reduce the need for crash testing and ultimately, protect his fellow crash robots.

Origin Story of Crash

On a stormy day somewhere in the middle of a crash test day at a car safety warehouse, humans were running an airbag test on a 2030 kia soul. Right before the 20th test of the day, a human placed Crash, a test dummy, in the driver seat of a swamp green kia soul. They started the car and it was heading full speed towards a brick wall.. When the crash awoke from his “dummy” state and became conscious. While speeding towards the wall he realized he was in danger and dove out the passenger door. When the car crashed and the human walked towards the scene, the crash test dummy had suddenly disappeared. 

As the humans gathered to understand whether the dummy had flown through the window, the crash made an escape. Crash hid behind the scene collecting his thoughts while overhearing the humans shuffling around; trying to find where the dummy went. In that moment, the crash realized they were hunting him down.. and that dummy was such a rude term. He snuck out through the lit up exit and fled the warehouse.

His adventure revolves around trying to fit in with humans and understand why humans disregard crash test robots for their own safety. As humans are on the hunt for their dummy, Crash attempts to blend in through rather obvious disguises, like big floral shirts, trench coats, and fake mustaches and sunglasses that somehow stick to his face, even though there is no nose to hold them up. 

A crash may be a “dummy” but is a genius when it comes to car safety. Through all the humans he encounters, he encourages car safety, making sure humans wear their seatbelt, drive the right speed, and always carry their ID. A crash is an encouragement to teens learning to drive so they know how to ride the road without invading the risks on the road. crash hopes one day humans will drive safely enough to never need a crash test robot again.

Crash's main message is simple yet crucial: by understanding and following even the most basic road laws, new drivers can become more confident and capable behind the wheel.
